Baptism
Baptism is the first of the three “Sacraments of Christian Initiation.” Confirmation and Eucharist are the others. Baptism welcomes the person into the family of God and membership in the Body of Christ. It is a sacrament we receive only once.
First Communion
A two-year required sacramental preparation process begins in the first grade. It culminates in the celebration of First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion in the second grade.
Confirmation
A two-year required sacramental preparation process begins in the sixth/seventh grade. It culminates in the celebration of Confirmation.
Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA)
A one-year process for preparation and study is required for all those
interested in becoming Catholic.
